Fundi sponsors Cisco Academy for the Vision Impaired 18 November 2008

Fundi has begun a three-year sponsorship of the Cisco Academy for the Vision Impaired (CAVI), a not-for-profit enterprise providing IT education for the blind.

CAVI is the only academy to provide world-class industry standard certification courses to blind and low vision students throughout the world. It offers the Certified Cisco Network Administrator (CCNA) and IT Essentials (CompTIA) courses in a manner that utilises the flexibility of the Internet, allowing students in any country to join in live lectures and laboratory sessions. CAVI is a project of the Curtin University Centre for Accessible Technology (CUCAT).

The relationship between Fundi and CAVI began through the Western Australian Information Technology & Telecommunications Awards (WAITTA): CAVI and Fundi are both WAITTA winners.
